Basic environmental training

Ramboll’s e-learning Basic environmental training provides an introduction to global and local environmental issues and highlights environmental challenges and solutions suitable for both companies and private individuals. It also contributes to creating commitment and curiosity for sustainability issues!

The e-learning focuses on the ecological dimension of sustainable development and is developed to provide a solid foundation in important sustainability concepts, such as climate change and its effects, resource management and circular economy, as well as chemical pollution. The course material also includes current sustainability initiatives, such as Agenda 2030 and the Paris Agreement, and describes solutions suitable for both organizations and private individuals.

The course gives you

After completing the training, the course participant has gained basic knowledge and understanding of what is meant by sustainable development. The course participant has also received an introduction to current sustainability challenges, such as climate change, overconsumption of natural resources as well as chemical pollution. In addition, the course participant has become acquainted with ongoing national, regional, and international sustainability initiatives.

Target group

The course is aimed at anyone who wants an introduction to global and local environmental issues and challenges as well as sustainable development. No previous knowledge is required.

Arrangement

The training is carried out individually and remotely via the Internet. Course participants can pause the material at any time and continue where they left off at the next login.

Voice over covers all information included in the course.

Time required: Approximately 40 minutes + time for answering questions and reflection exercises.

The user license is valid for twelve months.

 

Additional module

The e-learning can also be accompanied by a separate free of charge add-on module focusing on environmental management and ISO 14001. The module is only available in either English or Swedish.
